The ASK Foundation has taken a transformative step in addressing water scarcity by inaugurating its first donated water yards in Northern Bahr el Ghazal. Led by Executive Director Deng Arop Mawien, Program Manager Makur Andrews Acijok, and Innovation Strategy Director James Thuch Madhier, the team traveled to Aweil and Gokmachar, reaching the border areas of Malek Miir and Kiir Adep to launch this vital project.

This landmark event was graced by the Honorable Commissioner of Gokmachar, Kiir Chan Wol, and warmly embraced by local community members. The newly established water yards aim to provide clean and accessible water to the residents of Malek Miir and Kiir Adep, addressing a critical need that has long affected the area.

Community members expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the initiative, celebrating the positive impact it brings to their daily lives. The water yards not only symbolize hope but also reflect the ASK Foundation’s commitment to empowering communities through sustainable and innovative solutions.

This milestone marks a significant chapter in the foundation’s mission to transform lives, and it is made possible by the unwavering support of their partners and donors.
